Youth With A Mission (YWAM) affirms the Bible as the word of God's authority and with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, absolute point of reference for every aspect of life and ministry. Based on the Word of God, who He is, and his initiative for salvation, the responses below are strong emphases in YWAM.

Worship - We are called to praise and worship God alone.
Holiness - We are called to live a holy and just expressing the values ​​and character of God.
Witness - We are called to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who do not yet know Him
Prayer - We are called to intercessory prayer for people and causes that are at the heart of God, including fighting evil anyway.

The core values ​​of Youth With A Mission is an expression of our beliefs coupled with specific directions given by God since its inception in 1960 as a missionary organization. These values ​​are recorded here in order to pass to future generations what God has emphasized to us. These beliefs and shared values ​​are the principles that guided in the past and will guide the future growth of the mission. Some of them are common to all Christians, others are specifically for Youth with a Mission. The combination of this is what characterizes the organization 'Youth with a Mission', is the "DNA" of YWAM family, how we live, and where we base decisions to become.

1. KNOW GOD
YWAM is committed to know God, his nature, his character and his ways. We seek to reflect who He is in every aspect of our lives and ministries. The automatic result of knowing God is the desire to share it with others.

2. MAKE IT KNOWN
YWAM is called to make God known around the world, in every sphere of society through evangelism, training and mercy. We believe that the salvation of souls will result in the transformation of society, fulfilling Jesus' command to disciple the nations.

3. HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD
YWAM is committed to creating with God listening, praying and obeying his commandments as.
We need to hear God's voice as individuals, in the context of groups and meetings as part of the decision making process.

4. PRACTICE WORSHIP AND PRAYER INTERCESSORY

6. ENCOURAGE THE GIFT OF GOD IN YOUNG
YWAM is called to challenge and harness the potential of young people. We believe that God has given gifts and a calling for young people to open paths in the vision and ministry. We are committed to value, trust, train, support, open space and send young people, believing that they are not the church of the future, they are the church today. We are committed to follow them wherever they lead us, in God's will.

7. HAVE LARGE STRUCTURE OF DECENTRALIZED
YWAM has a large, decentralized structure, however integrated. We are a global family of ministries united by one purpose, vision, values ​​and relationships. We believe that structures should serve people and God's purposes. Each ministry has the privilege and responsibility of accountability to a lead, with accountability at the international level, the Global Leadership Team of YWAM.

8. BE international and interdenominational

9. HAVE A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW
YWAM is called to a biblical worldview. We believe that the Bible makes a clear division between good and evil, right and wrong. 10. TEAMWORK

15. VALUE FAMILIES
YWAM affirms the importance of families serving God together in missions, not just the father and / or mother. Encourage the development of strong and healthy families, where parents and children share a call to missions and contributing in a unique, complementary and vital.

16. SUPPORT BASED ON RELATIONSHIPS
YWAM is called to the relationship-based support, through a life of dependence upon God and His people for financial provision, both individually and as a mission. As God and others have been generous with us too long to have a life marked by our own generosity. YWAMers offers up to God, through the Mission, who they are, their time and talents without any expectation of remuneration.

17. The PRACTICE HOSPITALITY
YWAM recognizes the ministry of hospitality as an expression of God's character and value of people. We believe it is important to open our hearts, our homes, our bases and centers to honor and serve all YWAMers guests, the poor and the needy through this ministry, not as an act of social protocol, but as an expression of generosity.
